In the beginning...

Hello, my name is Josh and this is my story of how I became a trucker.



I left high school in 2000, not knowing what to do I worked in a roof truss company for a while, then headed up north to work in the diamond mines of northern Canada. I was eventually laid off (I think!). I was thinking, what do I like, and the answer was TRAVEL, I'd never travelled before, but I wanted to see the rest of Canada and especially the good ol' USA. I found a trucking school in Edmonton,AB and five weeks later on September 12, 2002 I had my very own Class 1 license!

Now, to find a company that will hire a greenback fresh out of training and is only 20 years old...
